How the points are calculated?

​

The simplest way to give points for our runners in the events is to award the points in reverse.

So, if there are 200 runners in the race and you came first, you would get 200 points and second would get 199 points, etc.

If we have 2 events running at the same time, like in the Lighthouse or Cousin Jack. Both 1st places are awarded the maximum number of points for the event that has the largest attendance. For example, if the Lighthouse Marathon had 190 runners and the Ultra had 65 runners. Both first places would get 190 points, 2nd place 189 points etc

It would be unfair to award either first places more points that the other.

There are 6 events with 12 different options in those races.

It is highly unlikely that we will finish the year with 2 first place Females and Males but if that does occur. You will both be awarded with a trophy and prize.

The first prize is a Free Entry to Bys Vyken Gold 2026 and £100 as well as a nice big trophy
